Sanaa Zoë Jackson is a young, developing artist based in Baltimore, MD. She is currently studying at Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), working towards a Psychology degree. She is expected to graduate with her AA in 2025 then plans to continue her education and work towards her BA in Psychology. In the past, she has studied Visual Art at Baltimore School for the Arts, as well as MICA's Art & Design College Accelerator Program (ADCAP). Her work in the past utilized sculpture, painting, drawing and many other mediums. She now mainly utilizes photography and drawing to explore and express her views on religion, politics, race and gender.

Jackson uses her work to advocate for herself as a queer black woman and to share her experiences. She seeks to capture her and others’ expressions of emotion within her work to tell a story. Jackson primarily works with acrylic and oil paint as well as charcoal.
